The Lake Forest Open Lands Association is a private land trust owning and protecting over 750 acres of prairie, savanna, wetland and woodland in Lake Forest, Illinois.  Every year LFOLA hosts several events for members.  The Buckthorns first sang as a group at such an event in 1995.  The photo below were from an event held at the Elawa Farm in 2005.
